The Definition of ME! Who am I?

You are who you are! I get many DM’s on Instagram that tell me “‘You are perfect”, “You’re so beautiful I wish I was like you”, this is all so sweet and flattering for me. But, in the adolescent ages, many females and males underestimate their potential and beauty. We are all humans, we all have a heart, so we will definitely have doubts about our appearance, or what someone said the other day, or even escaping into our own thoughts. Thus, it’s okay! It’s okay to have doubts and fall off the wagon at times, though if you do, you have the ability to get back up. Get back up and tell yourself, that you are unique, you are YOU and there is no one out there, in this whole universe that cannot be YOU! Self-Love is an easy concept to capture, all it takes is your mentality to grasp onto your well-being and your happiness. Take the time out to indulge in your own company, to really focus on your desires, and your happiness. Take the time out to perceive yourself as who you really are, and to not be afraid in order to wonder outside with just yourself as your friend.

In today’s society media plays a major role in what adolescents “should appear like”, what males and females appearance should be in order to “fit in” into this society. What media portrays is absolutely not the meaning of how you should perceive yourself when looking at the mirror or WHO YOU ARE! And I know, it is not easy to block out the media when social media takes up 90% of our lives. Therefore, engage in yourself, let your mind free and be wanderlust.

I remember, I once had a young girl come up to me and ask me as to how I was so confident in who I am and just myself. With all honesty it took solitude and the potential inside to release the ME! And I promise you, no matter who or what it is, whether its someone or the media that is dragging you down, with Self-Love embarked onto your mentality, nothing can bring you down!

Thus I posted a picture of myself bare face, and another picture of myself with makeup on on my social media. In order to show that whether I am wearing makeup or not, I know I am still beautiful! Plus I love wearing makeup but that does not change who I am! I have my flaws and my flaws are what make up to who I am.

YOU ARE JUST LIKE NATURE, THROUGH ALL THE WARS, DISRESPECT AND TORTURE MOTHER NATURE IS STILL SHINING BRIGHTER THAN THE SUN. THROUGH ALL YOUR BATTLE SCARS, INSULTS, AND FLAWS YOU ARE STILL SHINING SO BRIGHT!!
